abstract = "We perform the first single shot femtosecond laser ablation and patterning experiments on monolayer hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). The observed intrinsic ablation threshold fluence is nearly 809 mJ/cm2, which is 10× higher than all other two-dimensional materials. This indicates monolayer hBN is optically very robust.",
