N2 - Nowadays, the number of internet-connected devices is growing rapidly. These internet-connected devices include smart televisions, smart phones, and wearable devices, etc. On the other hand, as the demand for high-resolution video content continues to grow, enabling high-resolution video support on these internet-connected devices becomes increasingly important. Although the applications and hardware designs have been discussed, there is very few paper focused how to design and implement the system software stack so as to enable highresolution video support on internet-connected display. Therefore, this paper focuses on design and building the system software stack for the next-generation internet-connected display.
