    Abstract

    It has been shown in various ceramics that significant reductions of sintering temperature and time are possible with a narrow particle size distribution and with a uniform green microstructure. The present study has shown that Mg-PSZ prepared from the roller mill route has poor sinterability, while that from the centrifugal mill route has a narrower particle size distribution, giving rise to homogeneous green bodies and thus to improved sinterability.
