Abstract

The use of intracavity sum-frequency mixing in a diode-pumped Q-switched Nd:YVO4 dual-wavelength laser to generate high-power yellow light was presented. Three-mirror configuration forming two separate laser cavities was used to achieve simultaneous emission of two wavelengths. The highest yellow average power was 340 mW and the peak power was around 2-kW at 12.5 W pumping power.
