Abstract

This article will introduce some of the important concepts of science didactics before presenting a view on the impact of the concept of the Anthropocene. Within science didactics, there has been a recent paradigm shift from “sustainable development” to “global change”. This shift shows that didactics is renewing itself and should not be seen through a lens of catastrophism, but rather as a renewal comparable to the effervescence of a Renaissance.
