Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop a miniature wireless movementsignal recording system for running gait analysis on the gravity acceleration of runners The axial acceleration was significantly higher in the RM runner on the mediolateral (ML) axis at speeds of 9 and 12 km/h (p < 00001) The anterior-posterior (AP) and vertical (VT) axes presented significantly higher axial accelerations for the RM runner at speeds of 6 9 and 12 km/h (p < 0001) These reports showed highly similar results and this system provides convenience for personal operation and long-term monitoring Both coaches and athletes can benefit from this system especially in the fields of sports training rehabilitation and sports medicine In addition this system can be applied in clinical research sports training and personal health databases.
