Abstract

In this paper, we proposed a fast response hexagonal liquid crystal micro-lens array (LC-MLA) instead of fixed lens array for 3D light field microscopy. The property of liquid crystal lens is that it can change the focal length electrically. With this property, the working range in light field microscopy was extended from 0.27mm to 0.8mm.
