Abstract

Cloud services could be an effective solution for future medical image processing for computer-aided diagnosis (CAD). This research applies the concept of service science and Slow Intelligence System to enhance the value of medical image processing. A team from Germany, Taiwan and the US will cooperate to construct and improve the techniques and quality of cloud services for medical image processing for CAD. The goals are to design a system of cloud services for medical image processing, which could enhance the effectiveness of diagnosis and provide people with better medical care as well as to explore a concept of the Service Intelligence from this research.
