Carrier-envelope phase coherence in fiber laser comb

Abstract

The carrier-envelope phase coherence time of a mode-locked erbium fiber laser was measured to be less than 4 μs outside the feedback loop. The fiber amplifier induced noise was also determined for a cascaded amplifier.
