Abstract

An inkjet printing process for color filter fabrication is one of key technologies for next generation processes. To prevent ink overflow from the black matrices (BM) bank, two effective surface pre-treatments were introduced in this study. The contact angle of chemical treatment and CFx plasma treatment can be increased from 12 to 52° and 12 to 27° for red ink, respectively.
