Abstract

We present a special design and the characterization of racetrack-coupled MachZehnder interferometer for high speed and high linearity E/O modulation. The static extinction ratio, and full-widthhalf-maximum are analyzed and the photon-life-time-limited bandwidth are evaluated for more than 50 GHz.
