Abstract
Space resection with collinearity equations is an elementary task in computational photogrammetry. However, two confusing issues associated with this process were identified from past teaching experiences in a third year university level course of analytical photogrammetry, These two issues, namely the formulation of observation equations and the performance of least squares adjustment, are discussed. Numerical examples are provided for illustration.
