Abstract
To build up an all IP Network telephony system, SIP and ENUM technologies are viewed as two important key factors. Due to the increasing importance of SIP/ENUM, the NTPO (National Science & Technology Program for Telecommunications Office) planned to develop the Taiwan SIP/ENUM Trial Project in September 2002. The main purpose of this project is to construct a Taiwan SIP/ENUM Trial network to evaluate the feasibility of related technologies. However, building and managing ENUM DNS servers require a variety of DNS knowledge, and emphasizes that users had better do their tasks in practice, e.g., Learning-by-Doing methodology. However, most users might encounter problems in Learning-by-Doing, and require the related learning concepts. Therefore, in this paper, a Learning-by-Doing Remedial Tutoring System will be designed and implemented to help inexperienced administrators in insuring the smooth operation of their ENUM DNS servers. Besides, since private ENUM may become more and more popular in the near future, the system can also help inexperienced administrators building and constructing private ENUM DNS servers.
