Abstract

On the basis of additive mixing approach via multi-color LEDs, we demonstrated a universal platform to synthesize the spectral power distribution in accordance with possibly highest color rendering performance and luminous efficacy of radiation under a designated correlated color temperature. The platform associated with the optimization algorithm and LED matrix setup allows the use of a feedback mechanism to validate the feasibility of the proposed scheme for the general lighting applications.
