Abstract
Acute gastroenteritis (AGE) is a common childhood disease. If symptoms become serious, it can greatly affect children's development. In this process, their parents may feel worried and helpless. This article outlines the management and nursing instructions before discharge among children with AGE. The period of nursing care was from March 31 to April 2, 2010. This article integrates related articles in the literature with 4 case analyses by reporting on individualized nursing intervention for a child with AGE. Recommendations provide a valuable clinical reference for nursing colleagues to care for children with AGE and improve the quality of nursing instruction
