Sudhakar's research interests are structural , dynamics and electric field effects studies on functional materials using ultrafast optical spectroscopy. He is also interested in the photochemistrty of photocatalytic reactions using perovskite nanocrystals and other two dimnesional materials.
Sudhakar won prestigious “Taiwan Scholarship” from MOE, Taiwan for pursuing his doctoral studies. He also won “visiting student award” from “Global Center of Excellence” (GCOE), University of Tokyo for his stay at distinguished Prof. Hiro-O Hamaguchi laboratory for learning ultrafast Raman spectroscopy during his doctoral studies. He also secured prestigious MOST postdoctoral fellowship for a consecutive period of over 5 years.
