Science and technology play a crucial role in the 21st century as the diversity of technology has obviously increased. In the field of art and design, science and technology are now combined and are being applied in human life. It is important therefore to explore how human life is affected or can be improved by the integration of art, design, science and technology.
Established since 1992, our institute has two main fields, namely Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design, and Communication Art and Technology. These two areas prioritize the exploration of theory and practice with the application of science and technology in each field. These priorities are connected and combined into a common ground that the various theories share.
The philosophy of the integration of art and technology is rooted in humanity and art. However, by using technology as our tool, our aim is to find innovative ways of interaction and application within technology, art and design. We provoke students to explore the unknown and to develop creative thinking. Students are encouraged by international insights, the humanities, and variations in media technology into further development. In addition, our institute provides a warm learning environment, with strong kinship between students and faculty being important for mutual growth in a pleasant atmosphere.
Our diverse group of students and faculty coming from different disciplines allows students to learn art and design in multiple dimensions and from various perspectives.
